Bus companies that operate services from SFO to other areas within San Francisco include SamTrans and Airporter.

Car
San Francisco is served by various road networks. The US 101, Interstate 280 and Interstate 80 offer great links to the city depending on what direction you are coming from. US 101 comes up the eastern side of the city's peninsula and is the most desirable route for those coming form the south. This route will take you over the Golden Gate Bridge. The Interstate 280 is the more scenic route though and if you have time to spare you should take this route. Be warned, however, that this route does have poorer connections than US 101. Interstate 80 approaches the city form the east connecting with the San Francisco Bay Bridge
